S plan member and I got it for $18,458.
Its a touring with automatic tranny, wheel locks, and cargo net as the only options bringing the sticker to $20,490, So I guess S plan got me about $2k off the sticker price.
The only options I don't have are the trick rear view mirror with its outside temp and homelink and the navigation, but who the hell needs nav for a daily driver. |

Also just purchased a Phantom 5. Very hard to find with the options my wife wanted. Ended up having it delivered from Daytona Beach with a very smooth transaction. Ended up paying 21K OTD for Auto Touring, Nav (which is awesome), Cargo Net, Wheel Locks, Wind Deflector, pro tint job @ dealer with life warranty, mats, and they delivered it to my door. Paid a little more than I wanted, but finding exactly what the wife wanted and having it delivered was worth it. Now trying to get an overhead DVD system installed. ALL of the dealers near me in Upstate SC told me flat lies about availability of the Phantom 5 we wanted. They couldn't find any, there weren't any in the SE, etc. etc. I finally went to the Mazda Inventory search and found one myself and a week later had it home. Banneaux

Hey, I just bought a Phantom 5 Touring, too! The only options are the auto transmission, the Nav system, and a dealer-installed pinstripe. I didn't really want/need the nav system, but it was the only Phantom Blue touring model within 100 miles or so.
The Nav system is cool, though.
What did I pay? The MSRP is 22410 (22600, if you include the pinstripe), the Invoice was 20,890, and I got it for 20,400. Not too bad, I guess. |

i cant believe you guys are getting below invoice!
i live in toronto, and all 4 mazda dealerships in my area would NOT go below MSRP!!! their attitude was, "if you don't buy it, someone else will". and they weren't lying..... i had to wait 4 weeks to have mine delivered because there was not a single platinum silver to be had.
i paid $24,895cdn + tax for a GT |

got mine in Concord, NC even though I live in FL. paid right around 21k out the door. really was looking for stratos blue or black, but nowhere to be found. the phantom blue grew on me quick. unfortunately, my dealer wasn't the easiest to deal with, so i got no extras. oh wait, they did take off the pinstripe for me after i asked 3 times. it came with floor mats, too. No Nav system...don't need it. love the car, but the dealer coulda been better...alot better. 2006 Phantom Blue Mazda5 Touring, 20% Tint, 8" Bazooka Tube, Infinity Components, Drilled Racing Pedals, MTEC 6k HID conversion kit, JDM yellow foglights, Blue LED interior lights |

i can't really think of too many exterior mods that i'm interested in, honestly. my days of alot of that are over. most of my interests are interior stuff. i would love to do an HID conversion, but at the very least i will change out the stock bulbs to the xenon ones and change the fogs to yellow color. i like some of the lower lips that i've seen, but again, my days of watching every bump and curb are over. my other car, a '97 Jetta GLX, has the full suspension mods. it rides like crap in the city, a dream on highways. i'm just over it, i guess. i'd love to do more interior stuff like a new shift knob, race pedals, the blue lit door sills i've seen on ebay... any input? 2006 Phantom Blue Mazda5 Touring, 20% Tint, 8" Bazooka Tube, Infinity Components, Drilled Racing Pedals, MTEC 6k HID conversion kit, JDM yellow foglights, Blue LED interior lights |

We got our 06 Touring for a $1000 below sticker in early July. The dealer had to buy the car from another dealer seven hours from where we live as we wanted Cardinal Red with an auto in the Touring trim level. No change was added for the trip to Atlanta to get our car. We ended up adding a few options: cassette deck, cargo cover, step guard, and auto dimming mirrow w/compass. These option brought the price back up. 2006 Mazda5 Touring Cardinal Red

Well, I guess the price is quite affordable who wants to take the transportation services. I want to know about the pricing detail of the chiller truck transport service because I was finding the chiller van to take my equipment and cold stuff take to the ice burg companies without any damage. If anyone knows about the best one kindly let me know. |
